C.I.Agent Solutions has been named a finalist for the 3rd Annual WorkBoat Environmental Awards in the category of “Environmental Initiative.” One of only two awards being presented for 2010, the Environmental Initiative Award is designed to showcase a specific initiative, process and/or project that has a beginning and an end. C.I.Agent Solutions’ submission focused on the company’s innovative and alternative technologies tested and/or used as part of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and recovery efforts following the Deepwater Horizon explosion.
The WorkBoat Environmental Awards recognize businesses and government agencies operating in the U.S. maritime industry that have successfully incorporated environmentally sustainable practices into their operations. WorkBoat magazine will present the 2010 WorkBoat Environmental Awards at the International WorkBoat Show 2010 on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in New Orleans.
“We are honored to be named a finalist for this important award,” said C.I.Agent Solutions Founder and CEO Dan Parker. “Our innovative alternative products are proving that they can help clean up hydrocarbon spills on fresh or salt water – including the sheen – for less time and money than the present dated methods, and we are delighted to have our environmentally sustainable products and efforts recognized by WorkBoat.”
With over 900 exhibitors, the International WorkBoat Show is the largest commercial marine tradeshow in North America, serving people and businesses working on the coastal, inland and offshore waters. C.I.Agent Solutions will exhibit at the show (Booth #881) and feature its latest innovative alternative technologies for fuel and oil spill cleanup and containment used both for preparedness and response efforts.
